so hey! in case you weren't aware, wonder egg priority is a show that inescapably features teen suicide, sexual assault and csa, misogyny and abuse of all shades. it also touches on themes of depression, bullying, self harm, transphobia and some quasi-incestuous/electra complex shit. rika herself is very cagey about her own issues but as a character she inescapably also deals with teen suicide, self harm (highlight for more detail: Rika is recovering from a cutting habit and has one relapse prior to her canon point. She has recognizable scars from this on her upper inner left arm.), anorexia and parental alcoholism.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
VISUAL: Rika is a petite teenage girl, just shy of five feet (150cm) and with a wiry, toned build that speaks of a history in dancing or athletics. She likes overemphasizing her words and varying the pitch of her voice to really hammer in a point and generally, her speech comes off as playful and a little theatrical, like she's putting on a bit of a show. Most of this drops away when she's actually taking things seriously and her voice will turn quiet and low when she's not goofing around. I primarily reference the English dub track for canon review, where she is voiced by Anairis Quiñones and a vocal sample can be found here. For the Japanese track, she is voiced by Shuka Saito and a sample of that can be found here.
